What’s your general philosophy on childcare?

At South GA Childcare, we believe in nurturing the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our philosophy prioritizes safety, love, and developmentally appropriate practices. Our Goal is to Build LEARNERS

How many children currently attend the daycare, and how many children are you licensed for? What is your child-to-caregiver ratio?

We are currently licensed for up to 34 children . Our ratios comply with Georgia licensing regulations:

Infants (0–12 months): 1:6 caregiver-to-child ratio.
Toddlers (12–36 months): 1:8.
Preschool (3 years and up): 1:10.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks following CACFP guidelines. Our printed menu includes a variety of healthy options, and we can accommodate food allergies. Families are welcome to review our allergy and dietary needs policies to ensure safe care for their child. If families prefer to provide meals, we encourage nutritious options and limit sugary or highly processed foods. For babies, we safely store and prepare breast milk or formula as instructed by parents.
